Please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with the following policies and reservation details at The Jefferson Inn.

Arrival/Departure Time

Check-in between 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.; check-out at 11:00 a.m. Please call us directly to arrange check-in outside of our regular check-in hours of 3:00- 7:00 p.m. so that we may ensure someone is here to greet you.

Payment Method

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks and cash accepted.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy

Reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit. Full payment is due 30 days prior to stay. The credit card on file will automatically be charged unless other arrangements are made prior to final payment. If the reservation is made within the last month the full amount is charged when making the reservation. There is no credit or refund for early departure or if a reservation is cancelled or rescheduled less than 30 days prior to your stay unless the room is re-rented. If the room is re-rented, a refund is given less a service charge of $15 per room. We reserve the right to change your room to an equal or better room without notification.


Rates are for double/single occupancy and do not include tax or gratuities. Rates include a full gourmet breakfast served in our dining room for the five B&B rooms. Please let us know in advance of any food restrictions. Efficiency units do not receive breakfast. An additional two people can be accommodated in the Mary O’Rourke Suite for an extra fee of $50 per person per night. The two efficiency units can accommodate a third person and/or a pet for an additional fee of $15 per night.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Inn. All indoor premises are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in outside designated areas only. Smoking inside the Inn will result in an additional cleaning fee of $250.00.


Children over the age of twelve are welcome to stay in the main Inn. Regrettably, the atmosphere of The Jefferson Inn is not suitable for young children. We offer two efficiency suites for families with young children.


Pets are welcome in the two efficiency units only. We welcome guests who adore their pets, however The Jefferson Inn is not an alternative to boarding. Your pet must be on a flea control program and all shots should be current and up-to-date.  Pets must be well-behaved, excess barking is not tolerated.  We ask you not to bring your pet into any common areas. Pets should be on a leash when taking walks outside and you must clean up after your dog. Any damage discovered during or after the pet’s stay will be charged to the guest’s credit card. A family dog is on the premises.

Minimum Stay

Holidays and Festival Weekends usually have a two or three night minimum guest stay requirement.


The Inn has a private parking lot. In addition, there is ample public parking.
